French

French is spoken by over 200 million people on five continents and is an official language in over 32 countries.  France is the number one tourist destination in the world, but your study of French can take you even farther than that - to Canada, Africa, the Caribbean, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Belgium.  French is one of the world's top three languages in business and diplomacy.  From a cultural standpoint, French is the international language of cooking, fashion, theater, the visual arts, dance and architecture, and the French are known for their literature, films, and music.  Come explore with us!

High school french - year 1

In this introductory French class, students will develop skills in all areas of language study: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In our study of French, we will take a journey through the French-speaking world, and will incorporate French history, culture, and cuisine into our classes to enrich the study of the language.

Grades 8-12

High School Credit: This course is the equivalent of one high school credit in foreign language.

Class size will be limited to 12 students.  

Schedule for 2019-2020 School year: Thursdays 3:00-4:30 at our Conroe location

In second-year French class, students will continue to develop skills in all areas of language study: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We will incorporate French history, culture, and cuisine into our study to enrich the study of the language.
